Can I exclude certain creditors from my IVA?
It is not recommended that you exclude any creditors from your IVA. The main purpose of your IVA is to pay off debts that are owed. If you choose to exclude certain creditors, you will finish the IVA in the same predicament you were in before.
The objective of the IVA is to enable you to become debt free. You must submit a proposal that states all the creditors that you owe. You cannot play a game in which you pick and choose the people that you pay back. The debt is ultimately yours, and no matter what you have to repay it.
In this current recession, the only thing that is saving people is a great credit score. There is no need to exclude creditors that you owe.
